Your film bestie
The tornado sequences in Twisters are exceptional. The sound design alone is worth the price of a cinema ticket. Daisy Edgar-Jones is doing something genuinely interesting in the first act, and Glenn Powell has more charisma than this film knows what to do with.
And then — halfway through — it becomes a romance.
A disaster movie that loses its nerve. A cast that deserved better. A film that couldn't decide what it wanted to be and paid for it. This is my quick reaction.
